Guardian Angel
The Monnci Art Guardian Angel icon was hand-painted by Polish artist Monika Żurowska on a natural vintage teak panel. Its visible grain, irregular shape and warm wooden surface give the artwork a unique character and form an integral part of the composition.
Inspired by traditional angelic iconography, the Angel is depicted with a gently inclined head and open wings. The figure symbolises quiet presence, protection and spiritual guidance. Deep red robes, turquoise accents and subtle highlights on the wings blend harmoniously with the natural texture of the wood. The gilded halo introduces light into the composition and emphasises its sacred character.
This hand-painted Guardian Angel icon was created in the Monnci Art studio using wax-casein tempera and decorated with 23.75-karat gold leaf. Every detail was completed by hand, making it an original, one-of-a-kind artwork by Monika Żurowska.
The icon may become a personal symbol of protection, part of a home prayer space or a meaningful religious gift for Baptism, First Holy Communion, a wedding or the birth of a child.
