About me
My name is Monika Zurowska
…and I create under the brand Monnci Art.
My journey with art began very early. As a child, I spent every free moment with a pencil or crayons in hand, transforming ordinary, gray sheets of paper into small, colorful stories. Drawing was a natural way for me to express my emotions and see the world.
With time, adult life arrived – family, raising children, and running a business that for years provided a stable start to life for my family. Art had to take a back seat to daily responsibilities for a while, though it never ceased to be present in my heart.
Years later, when my children began their own lives and fled the family home, the moment came for me to return to what had been my greatest passion – painting and creating art. This return was like finding a long-familiar path and rediscovering my creative nature.
Today, painting is for me a space of creative freedom, reflection and the search for beauty.

I carry out every stage of the work myself – from preparing the wooden board, through priming and gilding, to the final layers of paint.

My work combines tradition, craftsmanship, and a unique painterly language. Many pieces feature gold, the symbolism of light, and a subtle interplay of color and texture.
